Neat Activities for kids: Indoor Bowling - 6 toilet paper rolls (can be decorated) or 16 fl.oz. plastic bottles. Set on ends to serve as pins. Using a tennis ball or small rubber ball, stand 4 to 6 feet away from the bottles. Younger children can stand closer. Take turns rolling the ball to try and knock over the bottles. Let each player have 5 turns. The player who knocks over the most pins is the winner. Ready, set, BOWL. Hot and Cold - Use any prize you want them to find... candy, stuff animals, toys, etc. Hide one prize at a time around the house. Tell the kids there's a surprise hidden in the house. Whoever finds it first gets to keep it. Explain the difference between hot and cold to small children. Hot means you're close, cold means you need to change direction. Give "hot 'n cold" clues. Tell them they are "hot" as they get closer to the hidden surprise or "cold" as they get further away. When a child discovers the hidden prize, repeat the game, having each child sit out after he or she wins. Body Pillows - All you need is a flat sheet of solid color (or fabric)..we used white, fabric glue, (or if you can sew, that may be more durable in the long run) yarn that matches the color of the childs hair, buttons for the eyes and then stuffing for the body. Trace the childs body on the sheet, cut it out, glued it together, leaving an opening for the stuffing and let the little ones stuff and decorate them.
