Baby Shower Ideas |
It gets harder and harder to come up with unique baby shower ideas. A lot of women don't enjoy playing games, and yet you still want to involve family and friends. I ran across a few creative ideas that I'd love to share with you. Each one is filled with warmth and love; guaranteed to make any mommy-to-be feel super special!
1. Have a "long-distance Baby Shower" for out-of-town moms-to-be. You create a "grandma shower" and bring gifts in a paper bag for grandma to open. Then, everyone wraps them at the shower. Grandma brings them on her next visit to mom-to-be.
2. Have everyone invited to the shower send a scrap of material off of a baby blanket or childhood clothing item. Create a memory blanket out of all the pieces, and present it at the shower.
3. Take a baby gown and write the name of the mother and date of the shower. Have everyone sign it as they enter.
4. Create a baby time capsule by having everyone bring an item to include.
5. Have the baby shower in a baby store. Take the mom-to-be there as a surprise. Everyone pitches in and helps her select a cartful of baby items!
6. Have each guest bring a flower bulb to plant. Mom can watch the flowers grow along with her baby!
